We're just back from a great week in New York, attending the OutMusic Awards. The days flew by so fast but we managed a little sight seeing in between gigs. An afternoon at MOMA and a wonderful day in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens where the rose garden was in full June bloom. We're both major soccer nuts so we spent a lot of time trying to find bars that showed world cup matches. That meant Mexican, Brazilian and Italian bars and cafes. A Brazilian bar in Brooklyn followed a Brazil win with a great samba band gig. Heaven.
